Two of some of my favorite people. Mike is one of the first people I met when I moved to Washington. And, he continues to be one of my best friends. His fiancee, Ashley, has also grown to be such a great friend of mine. We spent the whole day together venturing to Fort Casey on Whidbey Island for their engagement session. A day full of laughter, friends & sun. To top it all off, Ashley and I got to watch some seals play off the coast while the boys got the car. Such a great day & great images to enjoy.

Baby Gwen was born at just 6 pounds and 10 ounces. So tiny compared to my last baby at 9. I had to oooh and ahhh over her for awhile before we started shooting. She had perfect skin, lots of dark hair and just BEAUTIFUL. (As you can see). The first set of images was for a ‘winter’ theme that we were going with for a project of season images. The sticks were the one thing that her proud parents had left from their wedding and they were incorporated very nicely. Just loved photographing this sweet little baby (5 days new) and looking forward to seeing her again in the spring.

I am partial to this sweet little nugget because we ‘sort of’ share the same name. (or nickname at least) … This little girl was quite the character the entire session. She was oh so happy and was willing to let us dress her in anything and put her anywhere. I could not stop laughing while editing all of these precious images. Her parents sure lucked out with a great baby. Thanks JoJo .. See you in about 6 months!  🙂

Drew & Lynsey are getting married in December this year. And, I am photographing it! They came out to Monroe for an engagement session at the end of October. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather this day too! We shot at a farm of a family friend. They have the coolest property and got a lot of great shots. This couple is so easy to photograph. They have such a fun relationship and are up for any ideas that I (or they) think of! I am so looking forward to capturing their day. They have a lot of cool details planned for the wedding. Be sure to look for a wedding blog post some time in December. Thanks Drew & Lynsey .. See you in less than a month!!  🙂

Be sure to check out the Facebook page and let Drew & Lynsey know which ones are your favorite.
