Out and about looking for cool new props and backgrounds for the studio, we stumbled across this little gem. Fleur De Lis has fountains, statues and other really cool things made out of rock/cement. I was on a mission to find some studio LIONS and I was happy to have found them! (Watch for an upcoming “Name the LIONS” post) …

If you’re in Seattle and looking for some things similar to the photos below, make sure you check them out. They have great customer service, great prices – all that makes for a great shopping experience! Thanks Fleur De Lis! I’ll definitely be back!

I have been photographing this family every year since I moved to Washington in 2008. Eleanor is a resident at Hearthstone in Green Lake. Her family comes every Christmas and gets together for a nice family dinner.

This year, September 11, 2010, Eleanor turned 100 years old. It was awesome to see all the family that showed up because of her! She had a very special day that included amazing cupcakes and fun balloons that the little guy just loved.

Enjoy these images. See you all in December!

On Memorial Day this year was the first 2010 IO Awards. What a great event it turned out to be. Amazing musicians and amazing jazz music was recognized and heard at Benaroya Hall. Here is a photo of the 3 responsible for putting on the event – Richelle, David & Farah. Please view more images from the IO Awards at my Facebook Fanpage! And visit LUCID in the U-District for a relaxing night with great jazz music.
