On Memorial Day this year was the first 2010 IO Awards. What a great event it turned out to be. Amazing musicians and amazing jazz music was recognized and heard at Benaroya Hall. Here is a photo of the 3 responsible for putting on the event – Richelle, David & Farah. Please view more images from the IO Awards at my Facebook Fanpage! And visit LUCID in the U-District for a relaxing night with great jazz music.

Remember this awesome maternity session? Well, baby Jack is finally here! I went to their home in Kenmore to photograph Jack in the first week of his life … He was such a great sport and made us laugh the whole time … Usually it takes awhile for babies to sleep enough for me to pose them how I want them, but he slept right through it! Just woke up for some funny shots at the end. What a sweet little baby boy!

I just love this one ... "Yo! I'm a carrot."

Graysen turned one and his parents thought it would be a great time for a family portrait … We headed to Marymoor park for their session. That was the first time I had ever been there. WOW … That park is huge! But, what a great place for photography sessions!

Graysen was just the cutest and so entertaining during the session … I love chasing kids around with my camera, especially when I get get some great expressions from them! He was no exception! Enjoy his adorable little face … I know it sure puts a smile on mine!  🙂

A NEW BLOG! Woo Hoo … It’s finally up and running and looking GREAT! I can finally start blogging all of those sessions I have promised to show.. Beginning with a fun session with some students from Glacier Peak High School … They wanted to have some non-traditional Prom photos. The flowered arch to stand under and pose is pretty, but it’s always fun to try something fun and different while lookin’ good for your prom!

I had them meet me at the Slaughter House in Monroe. This is one of my FAVORITE locations to shoot. It is sooo cool… They also have great drinks and music … Definitely the place to be this summer … We had a lot of fun during the session as you can tell from the photos… Enjoy! I know I sure love looking at them!  🙂

Thanks to the Glacier Peak students, and congratulations to those of you who graduated this year!
